Looking at the shelves in the store, there seems to be loads of brands, giving us the illusion of loads of choices. But what you might not know is that the majority of these brands are owned by just a few large corporations. When a large company buys out a smaller company, a lot of times the quality changes. Large corporations are looking to maximize their profits and most of the time they don’t care about the values originally put in place by the company they just took over.
